Mark Watson

Associate Dean for Research Services | University of Oregon

Mark has worked at the University of Oregon Libraries for over 30 years, but the Price Science Commons and Research Library remodel and expansion was his first opportunity to serve as the user group sponsor for a major design and construction project. The experience proved to be a highlight of his career, and Mark is now working with the science team to build out new services that the modern facility now affords. Mark is actively involved in Visualization Lab and the Makerspace activities. This past year, he was pleased to accept a sustainability award for Campus Design on behalf of the project.
